How to Make Your Hair Grow Longer: 7 Easy To Follow Tips

Every girl knows that her hair is her “crowning glory”, so most would want to wear their hair long as much as possible. There is just that sense of femininity that can be easily associated with this.

Unfortunately, some hairs do not grow as fast as it should be. This can be caused by a lot of factors but split ends and dull hairs can be some of the reasons. Fortunately, there are ways which can help you speed up your hair’s growing process. Here are 7 great tips on how to make your hair grow longer.

Trim Your Hair

Trimming your hair for about ½ inch every two months can control split ends. As you know, split ends make it harder for hairs to grow so cutting them in the hair ends is a great idea.

Do Hair Up-do styles

Buns, French rolls, and other styles which hides the hair ends is a recommended way. This will help protect the hair ends from exposure to air which can dry it easily and also encourage split ends to occur.

Do Not Heat Up

Take those blow dryers away from your hair. Keep your curling iron and avoid using the flat iron. These things give high heat exposure to your hair which can damage it easily. Avoiding damages and breakages in your hair will make it easier to grow in your desired length.

Another trick to making a hair grow longer is to put moisturizers daily on the hair ends. You can use jojoba oil or a lotion moisturizer. Moisturizing the tresses bi-weekly is also commonly advised. While a once a month protein conditioner should be done too. Following these will produce a strong and gorgeous long hair.

Comb like a princess

Because your hair is your “crowning glory”, combing it softly and with care will make boost its lengthening process. Aside from this, gentle detangling and styling should also be done. Though, after styling, one should leave the hair for about a day. Enjoy your hair and do not play with it as it will cause dryness and make split ends appear.

Sleep In Satin Or Silk

If you are going to comb like a princess before you sleep, then you should retire for the night in the same princess-like manner. Wearing a silk or satin scarf will protect your beloved hair from tangles and dryness. If you don’t have this kind of scarf, then maybe you have satin or silk pillowcases as alternative.

Change Your Diet

As with taking care of your skin, making your hair grow faster involves proper nutrition. So eating more vegetables and foods rich in protein is a great help for your goal as your hair may also show what you eat.

Other than these mentioned, you may also like to take multivitamins to add more nourishment to your body and to your hair as well. A healthy body means having a beautiful hair. So follow these tips on how to make your hair grow longer naturally, and you will surely get the long hair you always wanted.

i have just reached 13 and my hair continuously falls out with or without brushing it. i apply oil sometimes and shampoo my hair every 2-3 days but it doesn’t seem to be working. i used to have really thick hair, but then i went to pakistan for a month during the month of ramadan (i’m a muslim), and had showers every day there, applying oil once every week. but when i came back to england my hair loss problems were so drastic that i want it to grow back to how it was before – and i don’t want to trim it either. please help!
